Overview
We’re very good at teaching. Our most recent A Level pass rate was 98.6%!
90% of students would recommend GC and 95% said that the teaching on their course was good. Ofsted has rated us “good” with “outstanding” features.
All GC staff are experts in their subject area and a number of them have worked in industry too.

A) English Language Requirements
To be eligible for our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, international students must satisfy English Language Requirements. The level of English required depends on the course you wish to apply for and there are a few exemptions available also.
We offer great value for money. Course materials, transport and admission for day trips, full social programme, learning facilities and administration charges are included.
Course Dates and Costs
Dates start and finish on Sunday, the travel day.
Juniors – Sunday 28th June 2015 – Sunday 9th August 2015.
Adults – Sunday 28th June 2015 – Sunday 30th August 2015.
Juniors: 12-14 (with group), 15-17. Adults: 17+. Fees below are for summer 2015:

Courses include 15 hours (20 lessons) in class for Juniors, and 18 hours (24 lessons) for Adults.
Course materials, transport and admission for day trips, full social programme, learning facilities and administration charges are included.
Airport transfers are not included but can be arranged. Host family accommodation is full board (packed lunch) and includes light laundry.
We’ll find a suitable family for you to stay with, either in Gloucester or Cheltenham depending on where you’ll be studying.
Staying with a host family is a wonderful way to immerse yourself in British culture and you’ll have plenty of opportunity to practise speaking English.
All our host families are carefully chosen by our accommodation officer to make sure all our students will be cared for and looked after in a safe and friendly environment.
Host families provide breakfast and dinner on weekdays and breakfast, lunch and dinner at the weekend.
Some of our host families have children, who may be a similar age, and pets. You’re sure of a warm welcome.

LOCATIONS
Gloucestershire College has four campuses in the Cotswolds. These are at Gloucester, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury and the Forest of Dean.
We are just two hours from London and it’s easy to get a train, coach, or taxi to get here. We can help you make the transfer arrangements when your place is confirmed.
WHILE YOU’RE HERE
The College is around two hours from London (by car, coach or train) and around one hour from Birmingham, Oxford, Bristol, Cardiff, Bath and Stratford-upon-Avon. There are excellent transport links with many popular places within the UK.
We arrange frequent supervised excursions to these places, as well as local activities such as sports and social events.
